This involves: Maintaining river buffer zones Identifying water catchment areas Identify road construction practices that minimise impact Working with suppliers to develop ground harvesting vehicles that minimize impact Use of helicopter harvesting for sensitive terrain Establishing certain areas to study the growth rate of trees and silvicultural treatment to plant trees as a way to rehabilitate the forest. We also encourage research in our concession areas to find better methods of forest and environmental management.
