The Group expands into Guyana, South America, and establishes Barama Company Limited (BCL). |

Lingui acquires a substantial stake in Glenealy Plantations (Malaya) Berhad, a listed company on the Malaysia Stock Exchange. |

Group restructuring is complete with Lingui and Glenealy rationalizing their businesses by a series of asset swaps. This results in Lingui putting focus on timber-related operations, including the Radiata Pine plantation in New Zealand, while Glenealy focuses on oil palm plantations. |

Samling Global incorporates on June 27 in preparation for the listing of our shares on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong. |

Completion of the reorganization steps to transfer interests in the Malaysian companies (including Lingui), Guyana and China companies to Samling Global in preparation for the listing on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong. |

Samling Global's listing on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong with overwhelming response. The Hong Kong retail tranche offer was more than 920 times oversubscribed and the institutional tranche was well over 100 times oversubscribed. |

In line with the Group's strategy to expand its distribution network, on 20 December 2007 it completed the acquisition of a 100% stake in Brewster Ltd, an Australian company involved in the sales and distribution of building materials, including panels and wood engineered products, timber and hardware with a business presence across Australia. |
| 2008 |
On 15 August 2008, Samling Global completed the acquisition of Anhui Tongling Wood Plantation Co., Ltd. The acquisition comes with a 3,079 ha tree plantation, in line with the Group's strategy of increasing its woodflow through acquisition of plantations. |

On 26 August 2008, the Group completed the acquisition of the business of Elegant Living (Hong Kong) Limited, Elegant Living International Holdings Limited and New Elegant Living Timber Manufacturing (Zhongshan) Co., Ltd.
Elegant's main business is in flooring and is the current market leader in China for hand sculpted engineered flooring. |
